Wire Fraud Advisory

Wire fraud targeting real estate closings is on the rise. Criminals impersonate title companies, real estate agents, or lenders and send fraudulent emails with revised wiring instructions to divert closing funds.

  • We will never change wiring instructions by email, and any change should be treated as suspicious.
  • Always verbally confirm wiring instructions before sending funds, using a phone number you look up independently — never one provided in an email.
  • Be cautious of any last-minute changes to payment or account information.

If you have questions about wiring instructions, or believe you may have received a fraudulent request, contact our office directly before sending any funds.

Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of this website — the pages, calculators, coverage tools, and forms found here. They are separate from, and do not modify, any title insurance policy, escrow agreement, closing documents, or other engagement you enter into with Title Ten HQ, which are governed by their own signed agreements.

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms as the site changes — see “Changes to these terms” below.

This website is not your title, escrow, or closing agreement

Nothing on this website — including the Title Premium Calculator, Seller Net Sheet, Buyer Cash-to-Close Calculator, Property Tax Proration Calculator, Title Commitment Guide, glossary, or coverage area information — is a title insurance policy, a commitment to insure, an escrow agreement, legal advice, or a substitute for reviewing your actual closing documents. Estimates produced by the calculators are for planning purposes only; actual premiums, credits, prorations, and closing costs are determined by your specific transaction, applicable rate filings, and final settlement figures. If you have questions about an actual file or transaction, contact us directly or consult the professionals handling your closing.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, our systems, or other users’ information.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site’s operation, including through automated scraping, excessive automated requests, or attempts to bypass security measures.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on this site (including the contact form, calculators, or event registration).
  • Use content from this site to build a competing product or service without our permission.

Accounts and event registration

Some features — event registration and paid continuing education classes — require information such as your name, email, and, for paid events, payment through our processor, Stripe. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for any registration made under your name or email. Event-specific details (pricing, cancellation, and rescheduling) are as stated on that event’s page at the time you register.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos, and other content on this site belong to Title Ten HQ or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws, except where noted otherwise. You may view, print, or download pages of this site for your own personal or internal business use in connection with a transaction involving Title Ten HQ. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, or distribute content from this site without our permission.

Third-party links and services

This site links to, or uses, third-party services including Stripe (payment processing) and Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on the contact form); it may also link to third-party underwriter or association websites. We don’t control those third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s own terms.

No warranty

This website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work to keep information on this site — including coverage areas, licensing status, and calculator logic — accurate and current, we don’t guarantee that any page, tool, or estimate is complete, error-free, or uninterrupted at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Title Ten HQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not apply to the separate contractual obligations Title Ten HQ takes on in an actual title, escrow, or closing engagement — those are governed by that engagement’s own signed agreement, not by this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the website changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
